Set Google as your default digital assistant in system settings. 2. Open Assistant Chooser using the Quick Settings Tile: - Add Assistant Chooser via the “Add Tile” option in the app, or - Add it from the Quick Settings panel. Use this tile to launch or switch between assistants. This method allows you to keep Google as the system assistant so Gemini launches properly, while still giving you quick access to Assistant Chooser. ℹ️ Alternative Behavior If you do not need Gemini Assistant, you can set Assistant Chooser as the default assistant instead. In this mode, tapping the Google app will open Google’s voice search (not Gemini Assistant), while assistant switching inside the app will continue to work normally.
